Gatlinburg Hotel: Eight Gables Inn

There was an interesting article found at The Enquirer’s website at written by Pama Mitchell describing the Eight Gables Inn in Gatlinburg. The article talked about the “tackiness” and commercialism of most of Gatliburg and Pigeon Forge including the neon signs for restaurants, shows, shops, outlets, wedding chapels, and much more. There’s definitely a lot going on in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but when it’s time to call it a night and head back to your hotel or cabin you want to be able to get away from things and have a nice relaxing night. There are a lot of Gatlinburg chalets and cabins and hotels where you can get away from things and one of those is the Eight Gables Inn in Gatlinburg.

The Eight Gables Inn features 19 rooms which all include private baths, cable television, plush bathrobes, feather-top beds and there are candle-light dinners served on Tuesdays, Thurdays, and Saturdays. Included in the room rate is a full breakfast every morning. The Eight Gables Inn is only about one mile and just a couple of minutes from the main drag in Gatlinburg so you won’t be far from the action and all of the great restraurants and shows in Gatlinburg.

Some of the rooms have whirlpool tubs and there is a massage therapist on site to rub out that stress. The room rates range from around $140 up to $270 per night during the busy season for the nicest suites at the Eight Gables Inn.
